Breast cancer survivor Jamie Johnston is asking females to scrub out their
closets and donate their applied marriage ceremony dresses to assist her Breast
Dress Task.
On Sunday, ladies can donate or buy marriage ceremony dresses which might be
4 decades older or newer at Groovy Linen Rentals and Johnston will donate all
proceeds to breast cancer study.
"Some people need to hang onto their dresses but we've been pretty astonished
at the amount of women who have given up their dresses," stated Johnston.
"I guess they see that they're never going to use it once more and that it
can visit a good trigger."
The mother of two may be accumulating dresses for this trigger considering
that 2009 ?a the year she was diagnosed with breast cancer for the very first
time.
She was diagnosed a 2nd time in February.
"I just wish that females are starting to recognize that this isn't even just
a grandma's or mother's disease," she said. "It's affecting us at our age level
--- people who are obtaining married are acquiring breast cancer now."
